It’s your life – are you taking accountability?

It’s your life – are you taking accountability?

“There’s so much energy out there in the judgement of others. If some people used half the energy they use in judging others on looking at themselves & how to be better, the world would be a far better place. Lack of accountability is at an all time high. Let’s change that” @garyvee

“Clap, clap” Gary V (he’s worth a follow if you like an aggressive approach to this stuff!)! It’s my view that we (society) seem to have this perception that working on our mental growth implies there is something wrong with us. We judge those people who make a choice to see a coach or therapist as though they have a problem. Let’s wake up, none of us have got our mind exactly where we want it, we all have work to do to think & operate in a better & more fulfilling way. Some are just braver in admitting it than others.

So I want to say huge respect & congratulations to all of those people out there working with someone to help themselves grow in some capacity. These people are taking responsibility for their lives & are being brave (vulnerable) enough to acknowledge they have a greater potential than they are currently showing. Some of these people live successful lives on the outside but feel empty on the inside, it takes bravery to seek change, we have to be accountable, no one can make us happy other than ourselves.

I believe working on your mindset / personal development should be the number one thing we all choose to do in life. Not because it’s a sign that we have a weakness, but because we want to give ourselves the best chance in life and we aren’t so stubborn to deny that others can help us spend more time being the best version of ourselves.

I want you all to ask yourself this, are you taking accountability for your life and doing the best you can to be the best version of yourself? If not, what can you do to improve yourself? Are you honest and brave enough to go there?

I want to say a big thank you to @menwithoutmasks and @lindamarshall for being the facilitators to my own personal development. While I was the only one who could do the work, they gave me the understanding.
